Nestled in the hills of the Connecticut River Valley, two hours from Boston and New York is The Lyman Homestead in picturesque Middlefield. Built in the 1860's, the Homestead is listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Featuring large and smaller sized rooms the historic home offers an ideal site for both intimate business meetings and conferences to large corporate and personal affairs.
The graciously appointed rooms, arranged in any style to fit your group's needs, include a formal living room, dining room, parlor, summer porch, library, and grand foyer. A selection of business features including audiovisual equipment is also available.
For larger custom events, there are several locations for outdoor tenting to supplement the Homestead. The large lawns and outdoors surrounding the Homestead makes it ideal for seated weddings or large corporate events.
The Lyman Homestead offers a year round picturesque backdrop for any event. Each season has its special flavor, from apple and peach blossoms of spring, the lush summer orchard at its peak, the harvest bounty of fall, to the rural woodland snowy fields of winter.
